Our Hostess is the every so amazing Lizzie who chose theme of Mustaches!  Who doesn't love mustache, especially when you can do silly thing with them?  I had the perfect images in mind for my project, and it was all about defacing my pictures.

These pictures were taken during one of our trips to Ocean City Maryland over the summer.  We happened to be in a sunglasses store while hubby was checking out some new lenses for his Oakley's, the girls and I decided to get silly with some fun and funky sunglasses.  No, we didn't have hats and staches... I added them to the photos to have fun with them. 

The background kraft paper was stamped using the Mustachio stamps from my stamp line that you can find HERE.  All papers are scraps I used from Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic.

Our theme was seasons, and since its nice and warm (and way to humid here), I chose to smash my page about Summer, and the crazy kids that make this summer so darn special.  As you can see, I finally got an Instax Wide Shot camera, and I am so in LOVE with it!

Besides my 3 kiddos, I get to spend lots of time with my neighbors kids, and my little niece and nephew.  I couldn't be more blessed.  My son is missing from this picture.  Although we took 8 photos that day, I'm sure one of my kids took the one with all 7 in it.  I either need to add journaling, or find that other pic.  LOL

If  you are part of the Smash*aholics Facebook Group, you will certainly know that there is a lot of hype over the Martha Steward Planners.  Well, I gotta say, I got myself one and started organizing my life.  Even with all the techy stuff out there today, I still revert to the old paper and pen.  I find it much easier than opening programs, go figure.  Not to mention, these look pretty darn cute decorated.

Smash*ing Kids

Hi there Sweet Peeps!  If you are looking for the Saturated Canary and Freckles and Pigtails BLOG HOP, click HERE.  I want to thank each and everyone of you for all of your beautiful comments.  I just LOVE reading them.  There is candy up for grabs, so be sure the check it out.

This weekend, we had the pleasure of having our friends over with their kids.  We do this almost every weekend, especially since none of us really go out anywhere.  It gives us adults some down time, and the kids get to all play and have fun together.

While we adults were sitting at the kitchen table (the gathering spot in our house), all the kids came running up the steps yelling "Ms. Kimmie, Ms. Kimmie... Can we all have a Smash* book?".  My youngest and oldest daughters are already Smash*ers, but my son and their friends are totally new to it.  Well, you gotta know my response... "What are you all going to do for me?".  Seeing them all look at each other in utter silence was hilarious.  Of course my husband chimes in and says "You are all gonna pull weeds!".  LOL

I trotted down the steps to the office with all the kids trailing behind me.  Pulled one of each Smash* book off the shelf so they could look at the pages inside each one.  I told them to look carefully, and be gentle to the books.  Once they choose their favorite, come see me.

It didn't take them long to choose.  Back up the steps they came with their books in hand.  Okay, again... here's the question... "What are you all going to do for me?"  Hubby says "Pull weed!".  The girls say... "Make beautiful pages!".  Okay then, I'm in. :) - without the weed pulling - hahaha!

And here is what happened next...

I wasn't able to get good pics of all the kids Smash* pages they did last night.  I can't wait to see them next weekend.  I heard today that the girls spent their Sunday doing Smash* pages.  That just brought a smile to my face.

That's all for today.  I didn't get any smashing done myself.  I enjoyed my Mother's Day with the family.  They cooked me breakfast and we ate on the deck.  It was so beautiful!  Then they spoiled me practically all day long.  I was a GREAT day!
