Friday Quotes | Caring

It's been a while since I created a new 3x4 quote card.  A friend of mine posted a beautiful video on facebook this week and the quote stuck with me.

Friday Quotes - The Fault in Our Stars

Last Friday, I took my oldest daughter to see The Fault In Our Stars.  Oh my goodness!  The only words I have for this, in my daughters words "The Feels"!  This had to be the first movie that I've seen that was so true to the book.  There were some parts of the book that weren't in the movie, but thankfully, it didn't take away from the story.

If you haven't seen it yet and are planning to, pack a few tissues.  You will need them.

In honor of  "the feels", I give you this Friday Quote freebie.   As usual, you are welcome to download by clicking on the image and saving to your computer.  The image is high quality, 3x4 size, perfect for printing for your own pocket page album.  You can also hover over the image and pin it to your Pinterest board.

Until next time.

Friday Quotes | Clarity

I'm still falling short on posting on my blog more frequently.  A good part of the reason... I think WAY TOO MUCH.  Call me an "over thinker" if you will.  It's one obstacle that I need to overcome.

I love watching Marie Forleo's videos and reading her blog.  I've been inspired by her for a few years now.  One of these days, I hope to take her online business class.  Her quote from this week's Q&A Tuesday really hit home, so I thought I'd share.

As usual, you are welcome to download by clicking on the image and saving to your computer.  The image is 3x4 size, perfect for printing for your own pocket page album.  You can also hover over the image and pin it to your Pinterest board.

Friday Quote | Goethe

Organizing and scheduling have been on my top priority list.  Well, more so organizing, but I'm far enough into my journey that I can start adding a few things to my schedule.  Things that I need to do, or mostly want to do.  The plan... to post one quote every Friday that has inspired me.  Since doing my own PL book as a journal, or diary, I find quotes help to life my spirits and redirect that negative energy that creeps up back to a positive one of goodness.  I've always been a sucker for a good quote.

The quotes I post will be high quality images that you are welcome to download by clicking on the image and saving to your computer.  They will be 3x4 size, perfect for printing for your own pocket page album.  If you print and use, I would appreciate a mention of where it came from.  That is just decency, but it not necessary.  You can also hover over the image and pin it to your Pinterest board.

This one comes from a book I am currently reading.

Until next time.

FREEBIE 4th of July Journal Cards & a Giveaway

While trying to stay ahead of my Project Life (not going so well), I  have prepared some goodies for the festivities that WILL be happening in our neighborhood the end of this week.  In fact, they are already happening tonight!  Whoo Hoo!

I planned for the pictures that I have not taken yet, but... in this industry, you have to stay a step ahead of the game.  For me, it's more like a half a step.  LOL

Anyway.  I  created these filler cards for my 4th of July Project Life spread that WILL happen in a few weeks.  I thought I would share it with you all.  It is FREE for PERSONAL USE ONLY.  I'm hoping some of you can get some use for it for your patriot themes and celebration.

I printed my cards on Bazzill Smooth white cardstock.

On another note... I've been creating some really cute (at least I think they are) flair badges that I will make available in my store in Thursday afternoon (and a few other sets).  Preparing my own "soon to be" project life pages I created this set of flair badges. Can you tell I'm determined to get my PL weeks caught up?

Here is your opportunity to win this VERY exclusive set!  When I say exclusive, I mean exclusive.  I'm not making very many sets of these.  All you need to do is comment on this post to be entered for a chance to win.  If you become a subscriber to my blog via blog lovin' or feedburner, you can earn an extra entry.  Entries are accepted until Sunday, July 7th at NOON Eastern Time.  One LUCKY winner will be posted right here on Sunday night.

Good Luck!  Happy PL-ing!  I hope you all enjoy!!!

Free Printable Digi Tickets

Hi All!  A little while ago I made some digital ticket stamps for the gals over at the Smash*aholics group.  I had all intentions of posting it here too, but you know how life goes.  Especially when the kids are on summer break.  I've also been asked to make a set of "Naughty Word" tickets.  I just haven't gotten to it yet.  I promise, it's on my list!!!

Just click on the image above to take you to my 4share file sharing account to download.  I prefer to print them on kraft paper, but they look great on any color cardstock.

Enjoy :)

Until next time.

______________________________________________________________________________

Hello Blogging Buddies!  Believe it or not, today I actually have a card to share with you.  We all know that doesn't happen to often - LOL.  After all the snow days we had this past week, the kids were home from school all but 1 and 1/2 days.  You can imagine by the end of the week I was pulling my hair out.  Mamma needed some serious down time :).  With more snow in the forecast next week, I may find myself finally scrapbooking too.

Over at The Beary Sweet Challenge, our theme is "Friendship or Love".  I have been dying to play with Echo Park's "Be Mine" Collection.  I just love the colors and the prints.  This is such a great line.  The prints are so versatile and can be used year round.

I used a sketch over at my dear friend Kellie's Tickled Pink Stamp Challenge.  The sketch was perfect for layering all these gorgeous papers.  I used Cherri with Rose stamp from Tickled Pink Stamps.  You will be seeing these cutie's coming to our store in the very near future too.

Cherrie has been colored with Copic Markers.  I'm not thrilled with my coloring, but since I haven't picked up a marker since October 2010, I don't think I did too bad of a job. I applied stickles to the rose.  Of course the entire card is distressed and inked up with Chestnut Roan fluid chalk.  I've added lots of ribbon and lace from my stash.

The sentiment is one that I created.  I printed it out, colored the heart in with copic markers and applied some red stickles to the surface.

I'm happy to share my sentiment digi it with you.  Simply click on the image to enlarge.  Right click on the image and save it to your computer.  The image is a high quality .jpg created at 300dpi.  You can easily load it into word or photo software to resize and print.  I left the inside of the heart blank so that you can color it in to match your project.

And now for that "technical stuff"...

You may use the images for any of your handmade paper crafting projects. All rights are the sole property of yours truly.
